Kim Getting On Nerves Of FU

North Korea is really starting to p!ss me off. First they launched a rocket more than 30 feet offshore. Now, they are threatening to look up nucular weapons on wikipedia!

If they don't knock it off, the US is going to .... wait, I think we're busy.

Hi OneEar,
The United States is busy is Afghanistan and Iraq, but WTF; we can spread the military out a bit more and take on North Korea as well. Maybe it’s about time for Dubeya to start drafting all the able bodied young men (and women) to go fight the evil empire wherever it exists. But he’ll probably want to wait until after the November elections before doing so.

Johns Hopkins University estimates 655,000 Iraqis dead as a result of the US occupation. (Recall that the death toll in the US Civil War was about 620,000). However, the hacks at JHU are including "civilian" deaths in their toll as well as real deaths. If you are going to use death toll attributed to human activity as a measure, then this little escapade needs some ambitious escalation in order to catch up to some of the really successful death totals.

Anyway, since the population of Iraq is only 26M, it won't be long (5-10 years) before the nation of Iraq is freed to death. Then, we'll have plenty of time and resources to deal with North Korea (assuming nothing else happens in the meanwhile).

I wouldn't worry about it.

Plus, we've got operation "Same Stones, Different Bird
" to consider.

Hi OneEar,
I just watched Dubyea’s press conference and he reassured me that we will NOT spend troops into North Korea before all methods of negotiation have been tried. I feel so relieved. Now you can enjoy your pumpkin pudding, knowing that the world is a safer place.

How hard is it to simply re-arm Japan? That threat would force the Chinese to shit or get off of the pot.

It all seems so simple.

Re-arm Japan?!?!

I suppose next you'll want to re-boot Italy.

As if Italy could ever re-boot. Fortunately, the Italian unions have ensured that the country will never work again.
