The described press conference reminds me of a pro-marijuana rally I attended about 15 years ago. Speaker 1 finished a rousing call to arms. Handing over the mic to the next speaker and leaving the stage to cheers and applause, Speaker 1 could be seen to be looking around for something. His searching behind the stage became more frantic until he eventually returned to the stage, interrupted the next speaker, reappropriated the mic, and asked, "Has anyone seen a red folder?" "It has my life's work in it. Please, if anyone has my red folder, I need that back."
