Litzi,

I was in Pebble Beach a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find you OR Clint Eastwood. It's like you both were hiding.

I learned a new word today on my 'word of the day' (it's the first one that was actually 'new' to me in a long time).

"Hircine"

I plan to use it often.

Hi Doc Bok,
Where you in Pebble Beach for the AT&T golf tournament? I go into hibernation to avoid the hordes of tourists it always attracts.

Sorry you missed make my day horn-dog Eastwood…who’s really beginning to show his age (82).

HIRCINE: having a goatish odor. Does it describe One Ear?

Doc Bok said...

no. I was just visiting. No tournament. In search of the Legend of Litzi. Mission failure.

It's funny you should ask about OneEar's scent. He was once the proud owner of a couple of goats, but they were too smart, and wanted to head-butt his dog and children. The goats had thick skulls adorned with solid horns that were unsuitable for contact with the heads of other creatures not so well-endowed. Their eyes really creeped me out. And they would rise on their hind legs and cock their heads to the side as they calculated the trajectory of maximum impact. It all seemed a little precarious to me.

Doc Bok,
Billy goats are fun to observe in a Children’s Petting Zoo…not your backyard.

I hope you enjoyed your sojourn to Conspicuous Consumptionville (Pebble Beach) and spread your tourist $$$ around…

didn't spend a penny there. Had two things to find and missed them both.
